TeamWorking by TechNexus is a shared collaborative space for entrepreneurs, innovators, executives, and teams.

TeamWorking has 65,000 sq. ft. of shared collaborative space, including Virtual-Enabled Meeting Rooms, Conference Rooms, Phone Booths, open area workspaces, and a Content Creation Studio with a Sound Booth and Podcast Studio.

We have over 55 growth-stage technology ventures in residence. But, we’re happy to have a conversation with a company focusing on technology in any industry.

TeamWorking has hired additional staff to frequently sanitize high-touch and high-traffic teamwork zones throughout the day. We’re committed to prioritizing the health and safety of all members and employees in our spaces.

We are staffed Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

A Flexible Membership is an affordable way to work without the commitment of a formal office. At TeamWorking you get ​access to curated amenities and open work zones, plus community access use of all Phone Booths, Huddle, Conference and Meeting Rooms.​

Membership costs depend on the size of your team.

The minimum commitment is one month.

Yes, all Dedicated Offices are furnished with a 5x30 Herman Miller desk on casters and an Office Star Revv chair.

Our collaborative shared space was built to scale with companies as they grow, you can absolutely change the size of your Dedicated Office here.

All members have access to their own user portal to reserve rooms.

There are no extra costs, our pricing has all amenities built in.

Internet & Technology

Wi-Fi information can be found throughout the TeamWorking space, on digital signage or see reception for our Wi-Fi network details.

We have an incoming gigabit fiber connection distributed via 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz Wi-Fi and 100-1000Mbs ethernet connections.

TeamWorking's Virtual-Enabled Meeting Rooms are equipped with A/V technology, we also have Virtual Meeting Carts, and a Content Creation Studio equipped with professional A/V, lighting, and a green screen with a Podcast Studio and Recording Booth onsite.

Internally, TeamWorking by TechNexus offers a variety of programming like Lunch & Learns with professional development coaches, networking events like happy hours and barbecues, ice cream socials, and holiday-themed parties. Externally, TeamWorking hosts a variety of other gatherings such as user groups, expert panel discussions, multi-day conferences, team off-sites, hackathons, all-hands meetings, ideation workshops, and trainings.

The Civic Opera Building does not have a dedicated parking lot. There is limited metered parking nearby, we recommend ParkWhiz or SpotHero to find discounted parking options. The CME Building (10 S. Wacker) is the nearest parking garage, but plenty of other parking options are within a two-block radius. 

Centrally located in downtown Chicago, TeamWorking is a five-minute walk from major transit hubs like Chicago Union Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center, and the CTA Loop.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), TeamWorking allows service animals. 


TeamWorking can accommodate up to 175 people and guests in a variety of setups. All of our meeting rooms are modular with movable walls. 

TeamWorking’s event reservation options include our open area workspaces, Virtual-Enabled Meeting Rooms, Executive Board Rooms and Conference Rooms.

Our Conference Room tables have casters so we can easily accommodate any request. We can set up each Conference Room in Classroom, U-Shape, Boardroom, Pods or Theatre Style.

Bundles of Event Hours are discounted hours-based packages for event reservations to use however you like - they never expire! They transfer to room reservations in real time and depend on the number of rooms reserved. We recommend using them for recurring events because they are a better deal for teams that plan to use our space frequently. For example, a half-day reservation for Conference Room A would be 4 hours from your bundle, whereas a half-day reservation for Combined Conference Room A + Conference Room B would be 8 hours from your bundle.

TeamWorking has optional event upgrades like coffee service, pipe and drape, staging, floral and linen rentals, and personalized digital signage. Missing something? Just ask.

TeamWorking has a list of recommended restaurants that offer various meal options for large or small groups that will deliver directly to our office.
